This was my second take on a painting by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge “A Friend In Need”. This was a tribute to all passed dogs and current dogs in a family, either owned by the individual or any of her children. All the dogs in the image were replaced with the family dogs image likeness and other dogs were fit in to work with the piece and include them in the image. Graphite on paper. Size is 23×18″.
