This was a painting I did many years ago based off a photo I took on a art trip to the Morton Arboretum in the fall of that year. It’s a smaller piece only 8×12″. I love fall, it’s my favorite season, so I wanted to capture the colors of the trees reflecting off the water and the bright blue sky as contrast.
