So the big day has come and gone. It was a great opportunity for me to debut my work and get my name out there. The turnout wasn’t what we expected but it was a great time none the less. Mingled with the other vendors and even sold a few items. It was great.
Leading up to the event there was a whole lot of little sleep. Even the day of the event I was working on 3 hours of sleep. I do work better under stress but I can’t say that the stress is good for me. Probably not. So I took the weekend off after the event to get my much needed sleep back and relax a bit before I start some new work that was earned from the event.
I was blessed with a few commissioned paintings at the event from a show producer and there is promise for more work as this partnership moves forward. Just prior to the event I took an order for two more pieces, Marilyn and Daryl. And a jewelry piece that was purchased led to more being created for someone else.
I will be posting all work created for the show and otherwise here under my projects. I have some new paintings, jewelry, as well as ornaments all created and a few are up for sale. Make sure to check my facebook page to see what is still up for grabs and the pricing.
